EMERGE
Peter Davys joined the Board of Trustees at Emerge Manchester, in early 2009. Since then he has made a significant contribution to the marketing function of this pioneering social enterprise who deliver a wide range of waste reduction, reuse and recycling services including education and consultancy. At a time of increased competition and pressures upon expenditure EMERGE's recycling services are nevertheless expanding thanks to Peter's strategic input through key staff and business support.
Simultaneously Peter took on the challenge to provide leadership in diversifying EMERGE's offering, specifically to Chair the Board of new wholly owned subsidiary, EMERGE Food. Responsible for operating the innovative and much needed FareShare franchise in the North West, EMERGE Food aims to provide greater awareness of food, its environmentally and health impacts in oder to empower local people.
